Program

PROJECTING. OUR BODIES. is about reclaiming agency over our bodies, our stories and the spaces we occupy. Through movement and cinema, Infinity Movement × 75 SHOTS create spaces to define ourselves, tell our own stories and project our own images.

The films explore the body as a site of identity, desire, resistance, movement and self-determination. Across different countries, communities and lived experiences, these stories ask who gets to define our bodies, who gets to represent them, and what happens when we take that power back.

For 75 SHOTS, reclaiming the body is inseparable from reclaiming the story. Through collective storytelling and self-representation, filmmakers take control of how their lives, communities and bodies are seen. Cinema becomes a way not only to tell stories, but to reclaim public spaces and project our own images into them.

For Infinity Movement, the body is also a site of agency. Movement, strength, consent and connection become ways of challenging the expectations placed on our bodies and creating spaces where people can inhabit them on their own terms.

Together, we meet through BODY POLITICS.

The films move between joy and vulnerability, performance and intimacy, gender identity and desire, survival and self-expression. They bring us into a refugee camp and an underground scene in Lebanon, into trans masculine communities in Uganda and Tanzania, and into stories that challenge whose bodies are allowed to be visible, desirable, ordinary or simply themselves.

PROJECTING. OUR BODIES. asks us to consider what becomes possible when we take ownership of the image, the story and the space our bodies occupy.
